The two main varieties grown in Europe are "Levant" from Turkey and "Romaine" from Italy. The hazel tree is a bushy and robust shrub giving catkins that turn into fruit. The hazelnuts are dried in their green cup. Then, they are extracted from their cupule and dried again. Then they are mechanically peeled and graded. Our hazelnuts have a pronounced taste that will sublimate your cakes, cakes, pies and other desserts.
