Chips Lay's paysanne Nature translates to English as "Lay's countryside natural chips."

Our French farmers are honored because they perpetuate French agricultural know-how and mainly produce quality potatoes for Lay's® in the Hauts-de-France and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. Since 1932, Lay's® has combined its unparalleled expertise with French agricultural know-how to create deliciously authentic-tasting and crispy chips. The quality of Lay's® chips is based on only three ingredients: potatoes, vegetable oil, and a hint of salt. Conscious of environmental issues, Lay's® is committed to using plant-based materials in its packaging, with a bag composed of 50% plant-based materials. This initiative is supported by certified supply chains that use renewable materials as a replacement for fossil materials. During the production process, plant-based plastics are mixed with other plastic materials using the mass balance principle. This involves purchasing a quantity of certified ISCC plant-based materials equivalent to 50% of the packaging materials. These materials can be used in other types of packaging. For more information, you can scan or visit the website lays.fr/tracabilite to discover the origin of the potatoes in your chips in a simple way.
